The Fuel Better Bar is a high-calorie nutrition bar made for mountain days and other long, active days when carrying or preparing a real meal is not realistic.
It is designed to give you a portable, balanced option instead of relying on snacks, junk food, or not eating enough. A single 580 calorie bar is enough to keep you going for hours, while feeling confident that you're putting high quality fuel into your body.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. If you don't like the bar for whatever reason, just email yourfriends@fuelbetteradventures.com with your feedback within 30 days of ordering (or 30 days from launch, whichever is greater) and we will provide a full refund. No return necessary.
Is this just a protein bar?
No.
Most protein bars are still snacks. Fuel Better was built to function more like a meal. Each bar is much more substantial, with enough calories, protein, fats, carbs, and fibre to actually keep you going when meals are not available.
Is it gluten free?
Yes. We even use certified gluten-free oats to make sure our gluten-sensistive friends can fuel up on the go.
Why is it more expensive than a normal bar?
Because it is not competing with a normal bar.
It is much larger, much more substantial, and built to replace a meal, not just act as a snack. When you compare it to buying a real meal on the go, or stacking multiple smaller bars to try to do the same job, the value makes a lot more sense.

Will one bar actually fill me up?
That is the point.
Fuel Better is intentionally much more filling than a typical bar. It was designed to help replace a meal, not just hold you over for 20 minutes.
Of course, appetite varies from person to person, but compared to standard bars, this is in a completely different category.
Does it taste healthy in a bad way?
No.
This was not made to taste like punishment. It was made to be something you would actually want to eat on a long day.
The goal was to make a bar that feels substantial and real, while still being enjoyable enough that you do not dread eating it.
Does it contain dairy?
Yes. They currently contain whey protein which is a dairy product, but we are looking into using a plant-based protein in the future.

Founder's Story
Fuel Better began with a mistake.
I ran a 25km obstacle race through the mountains without bringing any food. By the last quarter, I was already completely spent, and it drove home something I had never felt so clearly before: when you’re pushing hard in the mountains, food is fuel.
That experience changed how I looked at nutrition. The more I explored and lived on the go, the more obvious the problem became. Carrying high-quality fuel was surprisingly difficult. Most of what was convenient did not meet my standards, and most of what was healthy was simply not practical.
As I talked to more hikers, climbers, and adventurers, I realized this was not just my problem. Fuel Better was built for all of us who need portable, dependable nutrition that actually holds up in the real world.
